- How to use ladder stand-off bar with Tetra kit
- How to access flat roofs correctly, minimising the risk of a fall
- Understanding of working at height regulations
- Understand the fall factor ratio
Tetra Leaning Ladder and Flat Roof Course SA015C combines theory and practice. Upon successful completion, the delegates will be expected to pass a written test and a practical assessment. Tetra approves all instructors and has completed an extensive instructor course.

Practical assessment includes
- Erecting the ladder system correctly for telegraph poles using the correct equipment
- Erecting the leaning ladder system for dwellings, single-point and multiple restraint points
- Using ladder stand-off attachment when installing drop wires on customer premises.
- Accessing flat roofs safely and describing the safe working area
This course is not suitable for the following:
- Individuals who are scared of heights
- Individuals who weigh over 140kg
- Or disabilities limiting their ability to climb ladders
