Certified Fibre Network Testing Engineer CFNTE

Certified Fibre Network Testing Engineer CFNTE

The Certified Fibre Network Testing Engineer course is meticulously designed to equip delegates with a comprehensive set of skills to test fibre optic systems accurately and compare them to industry test standards. The course covers both theories and practical sessions, ensuring participants can perform the tests with confidence and in accordance with industry standards.

The course will provide delegates with an in-depth knowledge of testing fibre optic systems using a variety of test equipment, from fundamental light sources and power meter readings to the advanced setup of an optical time domain reflectometer (OTDR).

Prerequisites
Must know about fibre optic installation and splicing and complete either City & Guilds 3668 level 2 or FOA CFOT.

This course is not just about theory; it’s about hands-on experience. It’s designed to take students to the next level when testing fibre systems, giving them a solid foundation to test and troubleshoot fibre optic networks. We believe in active learning through practical training using the latest equipment, not just simulator software.

The courses are well-equipped, so students get hands-on training with test equipment.
